The same week, she had an additional match against Lee but was not able to keep her title. Then, Ariana faced Lee for the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational title, which was also won by Lee. On July 14, 2014, Nikki Bella was in the same handicap contest as Summer Rae Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes Summer Rae. Ariana only was there to face Nikki Bella. The Battleground preview brought her into a battle with Naomi. Ariana won over Naomi in the match. In turn, the rivalry between the two began. Both wrestled singles and tag matches during the summer. In the past, she's competed against other wrestlers including Paige Bella and her twin sisters Alicia Fox as well Asuka. WWE has confirmed Ariana had been released from contract in 2016, after the two-month inactivity. Arina was a part of WWE NXT after her resignation from WWE. She appeared in some shows of NXT like NXT's NXT Women's Championship, where Bayley was her teammate.
